WOW! We are finally at our first meet. I am SUPER excited to see these kids finally get a chance to race, after all the hard work they have put in over the summer. I have uploaded a document to the "Team Documents" page, which has directions for Saturday's meet. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE TEAM DOCUMENTS PAGE. I will update that document prior to each meet, so you can download and print the directions you need. Please let me know if you have trouble getting the info. Reminder for meet day prep: The bus will pull out of the lot at 6:30. We need to be there to load about 10-15 minutes early. EAT BREAKFAST!! Even if you have to bring it with you to eat on the bus, you will still have plenty of time to digest it before running at 9:00 (boys) or 9:45 (girls). ALL runners should be wearing their uniforms and team shirts. Our new warmups are not in yet, so they are to wear the ones handed out prior to pictures. When we get the new ones, we will set up a day to turn in the old ones, so they will need to be washed after this meet. Please pack a lunch. We will not be stopping to eat somewhere after this meet, and they will need to eat something prior to the awards anyways, which is scheduled for 11:00. We will have stuff to make peanut butter sandwiches and we have our snack bin, chocolate milk and gatorade covered. Make sure spikes are ready to go. If you need replacement spikes, we have some in our kit, but get them put in on the way there, NOT right before your race. Let's have an awesome start to what promises to be a fantastic season! #B> |
