Friday practice and Saturday Meet prep

Man, I am glad to say that we are finally coming up on our first meet.  Our kids have been working soooo hard all summer, and now they get a chance to put that practice to work.  After the quality of work our kids did in the workout today, it is evident that they are due for a nice, easy day tomorrow.  We will basically do either a 30 minute easy jog on grass or a 30 minute easy day in the pool. After that we will do a few strides (10 min) go through the rope stretch as a team (20 minutes), and then go over race strategy for Saturday (20 minutes).  We should also be getting our new warmups.  All in all,  i would say we will be done by 4:30.  

Please make sure that you are packed for the meet ahead of time.  Pack your watch, your log, and your spikes and socks.  Bring your water bottles.  The bus is scheduled to leave at 6:30 AM.  All team members should arrive in their uniforms and team shirts.  We should be getting the new warmups on Friday, so they should wear those as well.  Boys race at 9:00 and girls are scheduled to race at 9:45.  Directions will be posted sometime tonight or tomorrow.
