The teams both ran well today, and have earned the privilege of competing this Saturday at the Regional meet. The girls placed 5th out of 11 scoring teams, and the boys placed 4th out of 12 scoring teams. Each race was tight, and could have seen team places change (either higher or lower) with the change of just a few positions. The start time for the races is 10:30 for the boys and 11:10 for the girls. Since the school is being used for Hilly Hundred, we will meet at 7:45 at the IGA parking lot. Please dont forget the change. I dont want to be leaving any later than our regular time, so we get there with plenty of time before the boys run. We will return to the IGA parking lot for dropoff, after the meet. As with the sectional meet, it is the top five teams and the top ten individuals from non-advancing teams that will go on to the Semi-State Meet October 26th at Brown County. |
