Saturday: First meet prep

This has been a great group to work with, and I am excited to see them get a chance to go at their first competition of the season.  We need to make sure some things happen to make it run smoothly.  (I will go over all this with the team members today, but wanted to make sure it was in print to avoid any confusion). 

1) Team shirts and warmups will be passed out today, at practice. All team members should arrive in the morning, already in their uniform, warmups and team shirt.  

2) We will meet at 6:30.  Please make sure everyone is there by 6:30.  We need to load the totes, fill up water coolers, ice the chocolate milk, load up the tent and tarp, etc.  If everyone is there and helps, it should not take longer than 10 minutes and we can be on the road quickly. 

3) We expect that our group is going to lay it out there tomorrow, and will expend every ounce of energy toward getting to the finish line as fast as they can.  We would like for them to get some good nutrients to repair within about 30 minutes of the completion of their cooldown.  We will take the snack bin, the water cooler, and the chocolate milk  to have after their competition and cooldown are complete.  Is there a parent who would like to send either some pre-made PB&J or PB&Honey sandwiches and/or fruit?  If so, contact me and I will forward it on.
