Get your pencils ready:  Got a lot going on in this announcement.

WEDNESDAY:
We need to be doing our 400m workout on the grass and possibly track.  However we have a few who need the pool time, so the hard workout will be in the pool.  All runners should bring running gear still, in case the pool is not available. This will be the most difficult pool workout we have had, since we are trying to develop our speed endurance systems.  It will be hard, but it will not pound your legs.  Running is best, but this will be the next best.

THURSDAY:
The Weller family has offered to host the pasta dinner this Thursday at 6:00.  From Highway 46, go one mile north on Union Valley Road. Turn right on Tanglewood Road and drive 3/4 mile to the end. Our driveway is on the left just before the cul-de-sac, with "4250" on the mailbox.

FRIDAY:
One of our alums, (Mikey Mest) is competing this Friday for Vincennes University at the Intercollegiate meet at IU's cross-country course.  It happens to fall on our recovery run day.  We will go as a team to watch the meet, and our workout will be the jogging around to watch the meet.  Total, we should get between 3-5 miles of easy, light jogging, while cheering on one of our own.   The races start at 3:30, so we will try to leave the school by 2:45.  I will be getting a mini bus which can take 14 runners.  If there is a way to get the other 9 there, I would greatly appreciate it.  If anyone is wanting to go over to watch the meet themselves and wouldnt mind taking a group of clean runners, and driving back a group of sorta stinky runners, you would have my thanks.

SATURDAY:
This is quite a haul for the meet to Crawford County (down by Marengo Cave, NOT CRAWFORDSVILLE!! You will be going the wrong direction if you go to Crawfordsville!)  To ensure that we get there with time to set up and warm up properly, we will be meeting at 6:30.  All team members should be there to help load the bus at this time, so we can leave by 6:45.  The first race is at 10:00, so we must give ourselves plenty of time to get there.  After the meet it is our tradition to go down to a cool restaurant that overlooks the river.  It is called The Overlook, in Leavenworth.  It is a nice meal that will cost around $10-$12 and kids should have a couple of bucks for a tip.  Please let me know if that is a problem and we will make sure all kids get to take part in the meal.
