Ok, first I must apologize. Not sure what happened, but somewhere along the way I had the information wrong. Pictures were actually scheduled for Thursday morning at 9AM, not Wednesday. However, since we have a number of people gone this week we are going to do our pictures right after school on Monday, at the start of practice. It is really important that all team members have their gear with them to snap the picture right after school. Again, team pictures right after school on Monday August 12th. Second, we were at camp when the parent meeting was scheduled, so we did not know. Actually, this might work out better for us. We will just hold our parent meeting right after practice next Wednesday at 4:30. We will meet outside the athletic doors. Again, August 14th from 4:30 till about 5:00. I will have the packet to give out, and we will discuss team rules and get everyone on the same page as we get into the meet season. Third, with Mustang Kickoff happening tomorrow (Wednesday the 7th) those not at practice will be responsible for getting the following workout done on their own. 2mile warmup, dynamics, 3 or 4 mile threshold run, leg elevation routine, 1-2mile easy jog for cooldown. By now, you should know where you fall on those distances and have a good idea of what your pace should be for the heart of the workout. If not, then call me. This is a key workout, and it should be an intense effort. |
